A little about me:
My husband is a Band Director. I have a son who will be in 6th grade at Bullard Intermediate.  We have a lhasa apso named Bluebell.  I like to listen to music, read and spend time with my family.  This is my 19th year to teach.  I have especially enjoyed 16 years of teaching kindergarten in Bullard!

Cook's Class News

* We are learning to tap out three letter words.  The students are doing a great job reading in class and at home.  Thank you for patiently waiting for new books.  It takes a good bit of time to listen to all of them read.

* Word Lists:  Word list #1 is in your child’s homework folder.  Students who are still learning letters and letter sounds should focus on that before beginning word lists.  Students should practice reading the phrases that are next to the words on each list.  However, they do not have to learn all of the phrases to progress to the next list.  Lists should be kept in the homework folder and words should be practiced in a mixed up order.  Leveled books will be going home with students that are ready.

Thanks for all of your help and support!
